How to fight with Ragging fear





Ragging is an offence . People who practice ragging are no less than a criminal. Yet practiced in various parts of the world. It isn't restricted to certain age, occupation, or stream. Just the difference is that in some places the practice is more and in some places the practice is less. Remember if you are facing ragging you are the victim not the guilty. Practicing ragging and tolerating both are equally punishable and a trait of cowardliness. 







Most of the time it is seen that seniors and sometimes people of the same age group or batch maybe school friends and seniors, college seniors, or say office colleagues practice ragging. They target mainly a timid and clam personality to attack on. Never think that if you are being ragged  , you are of weak personality, or not compatible to them. Believe me you are the strongest one.






Ragging is the humiliation that can break your confidence just like a glass bottle. Continuous humiliation can cause depression  and anxiety. As a result to which victims most of the time choose to attempt suicide which is not at all a solution. Suicide is not a solution it's escaping like a coward from a battle field, which is never acceptable.









Most of the times people choose to hide about being ragged from their parents. That is the first step towards defeating. 

For parents : How do you know that your child is facing ragging?

Here are some symptoms:
  1. Your child will try to avoid talking with you like before
  2. They stop sharing about the happenings in their work place or institutions 
  3. They will avoid eye contact
  4. Stays depressed
  5. Avoid family get together
  6. Stays lost in a different world
  7. Starts maintaining excessive privacy


Look being parents you are the one who will have to take the first step to bring your child out of that trauma . Teachers and friends are the secondary concerns . It's the family specially the parents who are to be concerned primarily. 







For Parents: Solutions
  1. Be frank and a good friend to your child
  2. Your child should be comfortable to share stuffs with you
  3. Be understanding
  4. Stop scolding on every aspect
  5. Keep an eye to the changing behavior of your child
  6. Stay connected to his/her friends, be friendly to them
  7. Keep information about people whom he / she mingles with
  8. If he/she in a relationship be informed about their partners






For Individuals: How to fight ragging?

  1. Try to ignore negativity
  2. Communicate with parents
  3. Make productive and good friends
  4. Discuss with your teachers
  5. Try to avoid the contact of those who rag
  6. Never loose your confidence
  7. Watch motivational videos
  8. Take actions against the torture
  9. Never ever tolerate that , protest with proper proof
  10. Never ever think about ending your life or harming yourself
  11. Never use drugs
  12. In need consult an expert
  13. Never loose hope
  14. Keep yourself busy with your works and trey to make it productive

I repeat ; remember running away is never a solution , stick to the battle field, fight against and win . Trust me no one can stop you to achieve what you want. It's already yours all you just need to walk on the right path to find it.
